ABOUT

Software portfolio and blog
Who am I?
I’m Kacper (aux1r being my GitHub username), a university student currently studying a BEng in Software Engineering. I have a lot of interests including cybersecurity, low-level and embedded programming, operating systems. Outside of tech, I really enjoy cooking and baking as well as travel - I love getting to know people from other countries and learning about their languages and cultures (I would spend the rest of my life travelling the world if I could).
Whilst still at university, I was the President of CompSoc, Scotland’s largest tech society in 2025-26 and was a key organiser in HackTheBurgh XI and XII. I love to get speak with other CS students, hobbyists and professionals, so feel free to reach out if you wanna talk about anything!
What is this site?
This site is basically just a blog where I write about anything I find interesting, the stuff I get up to and any projects I wanna showcase or write a little more than just a github README.md about. I’m not some viral tech blogger or awesome coding genius so don’t expect miracles in these blog posts, but I think they’ll be a nice way to show off my work and get my ideas and opinions out there about computers, software and everything else tech-related.
Work?
I am open to work when possible! If you are interested in hiring me, giving me a chance to interview or inviting me to apply, please do let me know. I’ll be more than happy to give whatever you offer me a shot.
- Kacper
